Discovery Middle School Shooting

I wanted to ask you all to pray for the family of Todd Brown, a student at Discovery Middle School here in Madison, Alabama.  He was shot yesterday while at school, and died later at Huntsville Hospital.

I struggled with mentioning this, as I know this is a couponing blog, but after a reader's suggestion (thank you, Tammy), I decided I'd share as I know many of you are not local readers and probably haven't even heard about this.  I was in Nashville yesterday helping take care of my father-in-law when my husband called and told me about the shooting (it happened just miles from our home).  I really didn't hear much more, but this morning at my child's Upward game, I spoke with the mother of one of the Discovery students, whose daughter was in the hallway where the shooting took place.

I know that the students of Discovery have been left in shock, and must be frightened and anxious right now.  Please keep Todd Brown's family in your prayers, and also be in prayer for the suspect and his family.  I can only imagine how their family is suffering also, and my heart aches for all involved.  To see more on this story go HERE, and please continue to pray.
