Okie dokie folks . . . anyone else been cleaning closets out this month along with me?
This week I tackled my son Jackson's closet, and thank goodness this was an easy one (because next week's closet is a doozie!)
He did most of the work himself, and in about 30 minutes we had it cleaned out. It's not perfect, but it's better, and we were able to donate quite a few items as well as take several items to sell at our local Plato's Closet.
After – it's hard to tell but I promise we did get rid of quite a few things!
I'm heading to Plato's Closet today to see how much we earned from the clothes in both his and Caroline's closet (remember I earned $70 from Reagan's closet, so I'm curious how their's will do!) Either way just having the amount of clothing in our house limited has been amazing, so I'll be thrilled with whatever we earn.
And now . . . to keep it real around here (yikes!!), this week I'm finally (very unwillingly . . . ) tackling our own closet. When we moved in last May everything extra kind of got shoved in there, so clearly this closet could use a health dose of TLC.
I'm completely inspired by this post, and am hoping to really see what I can do in our closet. It's a great space, but obviously just a disaster right now so I'll update you on how it goes!
If you have a
few minutes ahem, an hour or two, um, maybe a weekend? to tackle your closet this week, I'd love for you to join me. (Misery loves company, right?) 🙂 And if you have other tips on how to earn money re-selling your child's clothing I'd love to hear those suggestions too!
