I found this recipe in Guideposts a few years ago, and my family fell in love with it. These are almost as yummy as a Cinnabon, and your family will be so impressed that you made them yourself! They're super easy, just remember to set the dough out the night before to thaw, and then plan enough time in the morning to let rise (the recipe says 2-4 hours, but I don't think I've ever let them rise more than 1-2 hours, make sure you set them in the warmest area of your kitchen). The package of bread dough has 3 loaves in it, so you'll be able to get several batches of cinnamon rolls out of it. We'll be having these New Year's Day for breakfast at our house!
Cinnamon Rolls
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed, not risen (thaw overnight in bread pan, use $.50/1 Bridgeford bread dough coupon HERE or $.55/1 coupon HERE, Advantage Buy $3.19)
5 tablespoons margarine or butter ($1/1 I Can't Believe It's Not Butter HERE)
5 tablespoons sugar ($.50/2 Domino Sugar 11/15 RP)
3 teaspoons cinnamon ($1/1 McCormick spice 12/6 RP)
Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar ($.50/2 Domino Confectioner Sugar, 11/15 RP; $.50/2 Dixie Crystals Sugar, 12/6 RP)
1 tablespoon milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mist 9-inch round or square pan with cooking oil spray. Roll out dough to about 12×14 inches. Spread butter evenly on top of dough. Sprinkle with sugar and then with cinnamon. Roll up jelly-roll style, tightly pinching ends so sugar/cinnamon doesn’t fall out. With a sharp knife cut into 1-inch sections and lay in prepared pan. Allow dough to rise to double its size (around 2–4 hours). Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Top will be golden brown when done. Allow rolls to cool slightly while preparing topping.
Frosting
Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a thick paste. Add more milk or powdered sugar as needed. Spread on still-warm rolls, allowing the frosting to melt slightly. Serve warm.

Update – I just saw Southern Plate has great step by step pictures of how to make these HERE. Her recipe is a little different (she adds some Cream Cheese, yummmmmm!) but the steps are basically the same. You really have to try these to see how good they are!
