30 Days of Christmas Deals for Dads: Day 12

It’s day 12 in our 30 Days of Christmas Deals for Dads series, and I have a slightly vested interest in today’s deal. . . ugh!  Our (only!) television has been on the fritz for the last six months, and it looks like it finally bit the dust tonight.  Long story, but four  months after purchasing a brand-spanking-fancy-new TV, our house was struck by lightning. The television didn’t break immediately (but the electrician said it might eventually . . .) and now it blacks out all the time, making life rough for my rather-be-watching-sports-kind-of hubby.  Well, tonight the sound is completely gone. Sooooooo, my husband recommended that I hunt down a deal on televisions for him you.

I wish you all could see my twelve year old as he’s watching ~ he’s decided he can probably take up lip-reading no TV. And my hubby says that any Alabama & Auburn fans out there can even have these delivered in plenty of time for the Iron Bowl. 😉

These are the lowest prices these televisions have been found at, and I didn’t see any deal in the Black Friday Ads that beat them (plus they’re shipped right to your door ~ love that!)

Samsung UN40EH6000 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV (Black)
$577.99, regularly $840

Samsung UN40EH5000 40-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black)
$477.99, regularly $68

Sceptre E325BV-HDH 32-Inch 720p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black) $199, regularly $400

VIZIO M320SL 32-Inch 120Hz Class Edge Lit Razor LED LCD HDTV with VIZIO Internet Apps (Black) $358, regularly $410

Do you have any tips on a great television that your family has loved? We’re leaning strongly towards one of the Samsung models (they have great reviews), but I’d love to hear your suggestions.  Click HERE to leave a comment and share!
