I took a few days off from the 25 days of Homemaking series, because I realized I only had a few days left with my kids before they headed back to school. Somehow writing a series on being an awesome homemaker that took up more time than I had so I wasn't an awesome homemaker just seemed off to me!
My cute kids this morning before school – goodness, time puh-lease stop!!! Reagan 3rd grade, Jackson 10th grade, Caroline 7th grade
So, now I'm back in action, but it may be that this series slims down to 20 days (we'll see how it goes – hope you all will be flexible with me!) I had so much fun hunting down new homemaking articles today though, and think it should be a fun series to get back to work on.

Take a minute tonight to read these 5 best tips to help you in homemaking from Club 31 Women. Folks, I loved these 5 tips (I started to say “especially #2, and #3, and #4, and #5, and really #1 . . .”, so all of them!) The 5 tips she shares are such good reminders no matter where you're at as a homemaker, and I think you'll be encouraged by her wisdom.
If you have other tips that make homemaking more manageable for you, leave a comment to share. I'd love to hear from you!

I’m not sure if I can trust your evaluations. In your recent comparison of Sam’s and Costco, you compared some name brand items at Sam’s to Costco’s store brand or other lower brand name, then declared Costco the winner! That doesn’t even make sense! Did Costco not carry a name-brand product, or do you just prefer Costco? We are looking at purchasing a membership and your evaluation was most unfair, and not at all helpful. I fear I will be unsubscribing!
Thank you so much for sharing this and your kind words!
I loved it Lisa – thank YOU for sharing it (I needed to hear it this week!) 🙂
