After sharing last night our new 25 day series on homemaking, I was a little overwhelmed by your response and apparently I'm not alone! Honestly I don't expect us any of us to spend our days doing nothing other than tidying our home and picking up after our family, but I do think we often miss the boat by letting distractions (um, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, anyone?) become a priority ahead of taking care of our bunch at home.
Okay, maybe I'm the only one who does that? The struggle is real for me at least . . .
As I was stressing already about today's post though, I came across these great tips from Erin at $5 Dinners on how she keeps her kitchen counters clutter free. I don't know Erin all that well, but I do know she has a bustling business, 4 busy kids (all boys, mind you!), is constantly writing new menu plans (pure craziness to me), and still finds time to de-clutter her kitchen.
Reading her post was so inspiring to me ~ especially tip #2. (We're still in the process of getting together our office space, but the minute it's done I'm so following her advice!)
So for today, head on over and read her tips, and determine to clear those kitchen counters with me (you can also shine your sink – it makes such a difference!) If you have other tips that make homemaking more manageable for you I'd love to hear those too.
