When I grabbed the awesome deal on Tide and Charmin at CVS this week, I told Laurie that I probably have enough Tide to last a full year. I sent her a picture of all my Tide and realized my laundry room looks really cluttered and messy. 😉
Laurie asked if I wanted to tidy it up a bit and share the pictures here, and even though finding deals at the store is my strong suit (not makeovers in my house), I agreed! My awesome husband said he would help, so we headed to Dollar General and grabbed 2 big containers ($3.50) and 3 small containers ($1) for a total of $10. The bins sure do make it so much easier to stay organized! And, while cleaning things out I found extra school supplies that my 16-year-old actually needs this next semester. Success!
We play a lot of board and card games (as you can tell) since we don't own any electronic game systems except this original Nintendo. About once a year we bring it out and play with the girls ~ they're actually pretty impressed with our Mario skills. 😉
Here'e a peek at the laundry room before we started . . .
And here are the after pics . . .
I have to say it sure is nice going by the room and seeing how neat and organized it is, and we were able to donate a few items as well. For an hour worth of time and just $10, I'm so glad to have it done! If you have a room that could use a little TLC in your home, determine to tackle the project this weekend. (I promise it's worth it!)
I’d love for you to join me over on Pinterest (I love that place!) If you have a blog and have done a little fluffing in your home, I’d love to see it, so leave your link in the comments section. Also, if there’s a craft you’ve seen on a website that you’re hoping to make, feel free to share that link as well (I’m always looking for new ideas!)
