Have I mentioned lately that I love Aldi? I didn’t have time to get a pretty picture this week (summer with three kids at home screaming momma every few minutes will do that to you. . . ) but I wanted to remind you to swing by Aldi’s this week if you have one in your hometown.
While I really have loved price matching the Aldi ad at Walmart recently, I happened to actually be right by our Aldi’s so I stopped in to see how their produce looked this week. All of it looked great (especially their new Sunkist grapes ~ we were so impressed!) and my kids already gobbled down half of the watermelon and almost all of the grapes already ~ definitely worth stocking up on! While the sales that I shopped in the picture were earlier this week, they consistently have grapes priced at $1.49/lb. (which is the lowest I’ve seen it in the last several months), bananas for $.44/lb. and carrots for $.99. Pretty reasonable when you compare them to the local grocery store!
Here are a few more price checks . . .
1 dozen eggs $.69/lb.
1 gallon milk $2.49 gallon
Aldi’s large pizzas $5.99 (these are huge and my family loves them!)
Have you gotten any great deals at Aldi lately? If you have one in your area and haven’t tried shopping there yet it might be worth a trip. I love stocking up on the things we really need, and don’t know of anywhere else that consistently beats their fantastic produce low prices!
