Aldi Weekly Ad: 5/16/12- 5/22/12

Here are deals in our local weekly ad for the Aldi’s here in North Alabama. If you live in another city, you’ll want to verify that the prices at your local Aldi are the same by viewing your online weekly ad over HERE.

Here are a few tips to remember before shopping at Aldi’s:

Aldi’s accepts ONLY cash, debit or EBT cards.
Aldi’s requires you to bring your own bags (or you can purchase them for $.06 per bag at the store.)
You’ll need to pay a quarter to use a cart at Aldi’s. When you return the cart, you’ll get the quarter back.
Aldi’s does not accept manufacturer coupons (however they have had a few Aldi’s Store coupons recently in a few local papers.)
As far as I can tell, the Aldi’s sale ad varies by store. To view your store’s ad, go HERE.

Mission Minded Deals: Publix Weekly Ad Starting 5/16/12 OR 5/17/12

Here are the deals in the new Publix ad starting Wednesday or Thursday of this week, depending on your area. There are tons of great deals to pick up this week, including free Carefree pads, cheap Aunt Jemima Pancakes, and V8 Splash for $1 (just in time for summer!) Grab a bunch for your family and one or two to donate to someone in need.

Here are a few things to remember before you shop:

To add an item to your printable list just click the square next to the item, and you’ll see your list pop up in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
The Buy One Get One prices are after the BOGO savings, so if you’re a Florida shopper remember you’ll need to purchase two items to get that price.
Publix doubles manufacturer coupons up to $.50 each day. (Publix does not double any coupons in FL – sorry guys!)
