101 Stores You Should Never Shop Without Using a Coupon

It hurts my heart a wee bit to walk into a store and watch folks pay full price for items they can just about always find a coupon for. Often I’m the pushy passionate penny pincher (~ahem~) pointing out a coupon (usually from my phone) before letting them head through the checkout lane.

Now, not every store offers a coupon every single day, but if you’re willing to do a little planning, most of the time you can score a deal. By watching a few savings sites and looking for a coupon, you really can save big! Here are my favorite ways to get those coupons:

Sign up for free emails which often include coupons.

Just about all of the retailers on this list will give you a 10-15% off coupon just for signing up for their free emails. If you know you’ve got some shopping to do, sign up for those emails to save even more when you shop.

Check out great retail coupon sites.

While I post oodles of deals here on PPP, I don’t have time to include every single retail coupon out there, but there are some websites that do an incredible job of it! Here are the websites I search before shopping:

Take advantage of Ibotta rebates.

Ibotta offers some seriously fantastic rebates including up to $10 off at various retailers. I just took a peek and here are a few fantastic rebates I see:

The great thing about these is these rebates are on top of the coupon savings you can use in the store. To get the most bang for your buck, find a coupon for your favorite store, shop, download your receipt to Ibotta, and get up to $10 more added to your Ibotta account. Love that!

Don’t forget to use your Swagbucks.

If you regularly use Swagbucks, you can earn free gift cards for your favorite stores. (In fact, I just snagged a $25 TJMaxx gift card through Swagbucks this morning!) So, take a few minutes to add some credit to your Swagbucks account each day when you search, and you can use those gift card savings to save even more when you shop.

  1. How do you find coupons for Lowe’s? The only ones I’ve been able to find, after much research are extremely specific (like get free shipping if you order 2 stainless steel appliances) and hence not very useful to me. Also, I would have to disagree a bit on Hobby Lobby 😉 – they have weekly sales for varying portions of the store that are usually a good 50% off. Plus if you shop their seasonal aisles after said season, you can get stuff for 90% off. I always try to use the 40% off coupon anyway, which is awesome, but I wouldn’t think of that place as a hugely expensive store, like some of the others on the list (like my husband worked at Honeybaked Ham for 3 years and wowza that place is pricey! lol).
