Apple Snicker Salad

  • SumoMe

This has become one of my most favorite recipes, and since so many of the items are on sale this week at Publix I figured it was the perfect time to share!  It’s easy to make, takes only a few minutes to throw together, and is sooooo good.  I’m convinced Snickers are good for you since they have peanut butter which of course is protein, and apples are a fruit so this is health food (right?) Here’s the recipe if you’d like to treat your family or friends too. 😉

Apple Snicker Salad

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

  • 6 regular size Snickers candy bars, cut up into 1/2" chunks (or 1 bag of Snickers bites)
  • 6 Apples (I use Gala but any apples will work - cut into chunks bite size)
  • 1 (5 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) tub cool whip thawed
  • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

  1. Combine Cool Whip, milk and dry pudding in a bowl with a whisk
  2. Stir in cut up apples and Snicker pieces
  3. Drizzle with caramel
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve

  1. Just wanted to say~Thanks for all the hard work that you do on your site. I get so many useful tips & wonderful information that I just had to tell you how much I appreciate all that you do.

  2. Laura Wagner says:

For the apples do you leave the skin on or take it off? Also, is it ok to make a day in advance or is itbetter to make and serve fresh?

    • Hey Laura! I usually take the skin off of the apples because my family doesn’t like the skin. You can make it a day in advance I would just add the caramel right before you serve it though. But it’s best served fresh or prepare a couple hours before. 🙂

Thank you! Will be making this tomorrow night for a meeting.

Do you need to worry about your apples getting brown?

    • Hi Tiffany! The other ingredients keep them from browning (kind of the way lemon juice keeps apples from browning), hope that helps!

    • Hey Tiffany! It usually lasts about 24- 48 hours without the apples getting brown. Honestly it is so stikin good it doesn’t last longer than that in our house. ha! 🙂
