  1. I don’t know if CVS has changed the way they handle extra bucks, but I was there on Sunday and made a purchase for Lysol that came to $14.98. The deal was spend $15 get $5. It didn’t trigger the $5. The manager said the system will no longer trigger unless you hit the exact amount or higher. Big pain to return everything and get my original EB’s back. Just a heads up.

    • Hey Jen! Sadly some are the 98% approved and some are not (where as long as you hit 98% of the amount needed the ECB will get triggered). It’s so weird. I think eventually all deals will get to the point where they will have to hit the amount. Let’s hope for the most part it will be just a few deals! Thanks for the heads up!

  2. Jen- I am new to couponing so you may already know this, but I went to CVS yesterday to take advantage of the Spend $15 on Dove Deal and get $5 Extra Bucks. I miscalculated and spent $14 which meant no extra bucks printed. The cashier told me that on the bottom of the receipt it showed how muh left needed to earn the Extra Bucks…..I thought I had to spend the $15 all in one purchase but apparently not. I went and picked out the least expensive Dove item I could find (and used a coupon of course) then went back to purchase the item. That put me a bit over the $15 but I got my Extra Bucks!

  3. for the cvs diaper deal can you use the $1.50 off 1 coupons located here? http://www.pillsbury.com/coupons

  4. I see you already have that posted. My mistake! :)

  5. Just a thought- for the first deal idea, the diapers would not come to 3.71 a pack…that would be 3.71 per item. One of the items is not a pack of diapers- it’s a pack of wipes. The diapers themselves would come to 4$ something- after you subtract the cost of wipes. Right? And in the 2nd scenario- did you mean to make the luvs 7.99 instead of 6.99? That would make a difference in final cost as well.

  6. 4 packs of pampers and I have a $5 off $35 expired kiosk coupon for baby products so $15.96 plus tax….need that $5 off $25 email coupon ha ha. I am not sure whether I am going to get them. I do better on Huggies price wise because of the higher value coupons Huggies puts out. I am down to a month’s supply so we will see. This is an example where I will wait until the end of the sale week to see if a better deal comes out. It is a great price but for the past 8 months I have seen better deals with Huggies.

    Pennypinching!

  7. This is my first pregnancy so I’m new to this but very excited to start our diaper stockpile. How many diapers come in a jumbo pack of Pampers? I imagine it will depend on the size.

  8. I am currently five months pregnant. I’ve never couponed for diapers but need to start. Is this about as low as the prices go? Thanks

    • Hey Kristina! The stock up price is $.10 – $.18 per diaper if that helps with figuring it out. From the looks of it both Pampers and Luvs is for sure a stock up price! I looked up and saw that the newborn size is 40 ct.which makes the price $.10 per diaper. So yes it is a great deal! Hope that helps!

  9. For the luvs scenario, do you buy wipes as well, or just diapers? I see the prompt to print the wipes coupon, but I don’t see it indicated that you need to buy them? Just 4 packs of the diapers, right?
