Here’s today’s five minute challenge for the day . . . you can do this! Stand up, walk away from your computer, set your timer for just five minutes and give your microwave a good scrubbing. Clean off the plate at the bottom if you have one, wipe down the front and sides, and give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done!

Before cleaning and wiping out your microwave, put a cup of water and microwave for about 5 minutes. All that steam created will make the inside so much easier to clean and you don’t have to scrub quite so hard!

I just did mine and it looks so nice!
I have one of those plastic covers that you put over your plate or dish to prevent splatters in the microwave (got it at the Dollar Tree for a buck)…but I think I’m the only one that remembers to use it. Maybe if I made the rest of the fam clean out the microwave they’d remember, too.
