Amazon just dropped the price on this Cuisinart WMR-CA Round Classic Waffle Maker to just $29.98, shipped! Since waffles are our family’s favorite Saturday morning tradition, I love that this is such a good price on a basic Waffle Maker. (A few years ago I purchased a “fancy” waffle iron that flipped, and it drove me crazy. I switched back to this simple one a few months ago, and the basic ones make the best waffles!)

This past Saturday when I was making waffles, I asked my nine-year-old daughter if one day she’d make waffles for her own kids on Saturday mornings. She quickly replied, “No mom, I’ll just bring them over here and you can make them for all of us.”

Know what? I’m thinking I might be just fine with that plan.

I love what your daughter said! I’m 25 with 2 kiddos (22 months and 6 months), and I often still text my dad on Saturday mornings and ask if he wants to make pancakes for us! Such wonderful memories! And he seems to love it… :]
