Aldi Ad

Here are deals in our weekly Aldi ad here in North Alabama. If you live in another city, you’ll want to verify that the prices at your local Aldi are the same by viewing your online weekly ad over HERE, and check out the complete Aldi Weekly Ad before you shop.

Here are a few tips to remember before shopping at Aldi’s:

  • Aldi’s accepts ONLY cash, debit or EBT cards.
  • Aldi’s requires you to bring your own bags (or you can purchase them for $.06 per bag at the store.)
  • You’ll need to pay a quarter to use a cart at Aldi’s. When you return the cart, you’ll get the quarter back.
  • Aldi’s does not accept manufacturer coupons (however they have had a few Aldi’s Store coupons recently in a few local papers.)
  • As far as I can tell, the Aldi’s sale ad varies by store. To view your store’s ad, go HERE.

I shopped at Aldi’s the last couple of weeks and, honestly, I was quite disappointed in the quality of my produce. They tended to be “old” and not last long. When I sliced my onions, they looked rotten through the first several layers. My bananas got mushy in just a couple of days and the strawberries molded, in the refrigerator, in two days. Have you experienced this? I really like their other groceries, especially snacks and cereals.

I love their groceries, but definitely have to watch the produce. Some weeks it’s fantastic, other weeks it’s not very good at all. It depends on what I’m buying (I’ve done okay with green peppers, onions, potatoes, and sometimes even strawberries), but I have changed my budget so that I can pay extra for produce at Sam’s or Publix. (Sam’s has the best produce!)
