I don’t know about you, but I’m about to turn off the computer for a bit to start some gift wrapping! Here’s a peek at my wrapping paper bucket and how I made it . . .
When I saw this idea over on Pinterest, I had no idea exactly how easy it would be, and for a whopping $12.50 it was totally worth it for me. Here’s what you’ll need if you’d like one
- 5 gallon paint bucket (I found one at Home Depot for $2.50)
- Fiskars 9424 Garden Bucket Caddy
or Bucket Boss Brand 01035 Bucket Boss 35 Organizer
(I found mine at Home Depot for $6.98, a little cheaper but not quite as cute!)
- 8-12″ tension rod (look for these in the drapery section at Home Depot or Lowe’s – Lowe’s was the only store in our area that carried them)
Last year I even made one for my sister-in-law as a birthday gift, and included post-it notes, popcorn, hot chocolate, band-aids, scissors, and tape . . . which were all purchased for next to nothing through coupons (thank goodness for those back to school sales!) I also included a Christmas CD to throw in the bucket for her, ’cause you know nothing beats wrapping Christmas gifts while listening to a little Christmas music.
Do you have any great tips on organizing your wrapping supplies for Christmas? I’d love to hear them . . . we can always use tips on keeping stuff organized around here!

I just saw on facebook that you can take an empty roll of toilet paper and it secures your paper without using tape. FYI
That’s brilliant Sheryl ~ I’m trying that next time!
