Grocery & Donation Deals: Spent $47 at Publix for $150 In Groceries

  • Sharebar

Here’s what I grabbed at Publix this week for just $47.37 plus tax . . . I was thrilled! Between Thanksgiving and Christmas baking and keeping up with all the deals around here, I haven’t had time for a real coupon trip in at least six weeks, so I was so glad to know the deals are still out there (and that I still remember how to use coupons!) :)

Every coupon I used was either from a store flier or a printable coupon that I printed from our Publix lists, which is making me really consider only using printable coupons in 2013. I have access to two computers at home, and even using just one computer this week I was very pleased with my deals. I’m not sure that I’m ready to completely make the switch, but the value of my time almost has me over the edge. I’ll be sure to share how it works if I switch over in the New Year!

I didn’t get a chance to snap a picture of our donations this week before my husband took them out the door (his office is collecting for our church’s food pantry), but we donated 3 boxes of Capri Suns, several cans of Green Giant Green Beans, Comet, a box of Frosted Flakes and some free Kosher salt.

Don’t forget to also see how my friend Shannon got everything in her cart for just $39 after her $10 Target Gift Card (including matchups ~ I use her list myself every week!)

I’d love to hear how your grocery trip went this week, and if you were able to purchase an item or two to give please take a minute to share that too! See how other folks are saving at Super Savings Saturday at Money Saving Mom,Weekly Totals at I Heart Publix, and Friday Finals at Southern Savers.
