Every year I try my best to continue my grandmothers tradition making her Christmas cookies..I send them put to family just like she did….every year I get a little closer to hers…but there is still something missing…my guess is it the 50+years of baking she had on me! But I do it to keep her spirt alive!

It’s a no-bake item. I cover oreos in chocolate and then decorate. I go to a cookie swap every year and I’m only allowed to bring chocolate covered oreos.

Ritz crackers dipped in melted tollhouse mint chocolate chips and then allowed to chill. They taste like thin mints. Also…Oreo balls are a favorite Around here!!! I always make Magic chocolate chip cookie bars. The recipe usually is attached to the cans of sweetened condensed milk during the holidays and it is so quick and easy! They are absolutely delicious and get gobbled up in no time. Best of all you can mix and bake in the same pan, no muss, no fuss!

I make cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning on Christmas Eve. I use frozen rolls and allow to rise overnight. Just pop in the oven the next morning – very easy and delicious! Thanks for all of your tips – love reading your blog and following you on facebook!

Biscotti. My mom makes 8 kinds, and I always help. It’s a family fav, and they keep well, even though they usually don’t last long enough for it to matter.
My son and my husband insist on homemade pumpkin pie and homemade pecan pie because they just don’t get enough at Thanksgiving…even though there are just three of us and they each basically have a whole pie to themselves! This year I added the Libby Pumpkin Roll and now they are requesting I find a Christmas version with chocolate cake and mint filling. But for me, it just wouldn’t be Christmas without decorated sugar cookies!
