Grocery & Donation Deals: Spent $58 At Kroger For $115 in Groceries

  • Sharebar

Here’s what I grabbed this week at Kroger for $58.71, while saving $56.73! While it wasn’t a huge savings, I’ll take 50%, and after not shopping much at all the last few weeks I was thrilled to have my pantry re-stocked.  I could have saved so much more had I known all the great new Kraft coupons were going to come out today, so I may need to head back to Kroger for another round of deals!

And here’s what we’re donating towards our Holiday Food Box this week . . .

You can find all the matchups for the sales that I used here in the Kroger Store Deals section of Passionate Penny Pincher ~ there were tons of great deals worth picking up this week at Kroger.  You may want to also see how my friend Shannon saved at Kroger and at Publix this week, as well as all the coupon matchups to match her trips.

I’d love to hear how your grocery trip went this week, and if you were able to purchase an item or two to give please take a minute to share that too! See how other folks are saving at Super Savings Saturday at Money Saving Mom,Weekly Totals at I Heart Publix, and Friday Finals at Southern Savers.

New to couponing? Start out by checking out all Publix matchups over HERE, and also take a minute to visit this week’s top Kroger deals and Drug Store Deals.  You can also check out my beginners series over HERE.

I *think* I finally figured out how to do percentages and retail pricing. So here goes:
I went to Target for their Halloween clearance and some basic necessities. The retail price was $148.88 and after clearance sales, price cuts and coupons the total was $97.26 for a 65% savings!

That’s perfect Bree! It stressed me out to figure out the percentages, unless it’s pretty obvious :) To save 65% at Target is fantastic (I always feel like things are so expensive there!)
