I made these Apple Brownies with Brown Sugar Frosting over the weekend, and they were so simple and just delicious! Â The recipe is very similar to our absolute favorite Southern Living Apple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, but I needed a recipe that didn’t call for Cream Cheese (we were completely out, and I didn’t want to have to head to the store!)
If you have a few apples just begging to be used up, this is such a yummy way to enjoy them. Let me know what you think if you have a chance to try them out!

I just finished making this absolutely moist dessert and even before my husband can have some, I think you’re going to be his new best friend! He loves anything and everything apple and he’s lactose intolerant so this is perfect for him. I used almond milk for the frosting. I’m sorry to say this but I’m glad you didn’t have cream cheese
! Thank you! I always look forward to seeing what you’ve come up with next.
Yayyyyy ~ I’m so glad it worked for you all Eleanor! It really is yummy… we gobbled down every last bite very happily.
Thanks so much for letting me know!
