Menu Plan Monday: Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu & More

  • Sharebar

Have you made your menu plan yet for the week?  We’ve been struggling to keep up with our menu plans lately, but here’s what I’m *hoping* makes it to the table at our house this week:

  • Monday -Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu (I haven’t tried this one before, I’ll let you know how it goes . . . ) Update: We tried it and *loved* it ~ See the recipe HERE
  • Tuesday – Spinach Stuffed Pasta Shells
  • Wednesday – Leftover Buffet or pb&j sandwiches as we race around town (Wednesdays are nuts around here, so cooking isn’t much of an option. . . leftovers will have to do!)
  • Thursday – Macaroni Grill Style Chicken Milano
  • Friday – Easy Taco Pizza

Do you have anything yummy on your menu plan this week?  I’d love to hear what you’re having, and if you have any great recipe ideas please leave a comment to share!

I make a similiar chix cordon bleu casserole that is baked in the oven. I suggest added a bit of dijion mustard to the soup. We also toss in some defrosted well drained chopped broccoli. Very kid friendly kind of meal.

Yummm Jennifer ~ I’ll try that next time! I adjust the recipe a bit, and we loved it….but I’ll try it in the oven sometime because that sounds yummy too! :)

Okay, here is my question: how do you get lucky enough to only have 5 days in your week? Or is unlucky as you do not have as many days to get every thing done? :-) My menu plan has 7 days :-(

    • Laurie says:

I’m not sure if I’d want two days less a week or not Staci! :) I’m a bum when it comes to cooking on the weekends… on Sundays we always go out to lunch after church, and then are usually full enough to just do cereal or sandwiches on Sunday nights.

And on Saturdays we usually grill if we’re home…. but with 3 kids it’s rare we have much Saturday at home (this weekend between them our kids had five games plus two other activities on Saturday in Madison, Huntsville, and Decatur ~ too nuts to plan a menu around! I always keep spaghetti, hot dogs and hamburgers on hand for those days!) :)
