CVS Drug Store Deal Of The Week: Free Physician’s Formula Cosmetics + Fun Tide & Pantene Gas Card Scenario

CVS is about to make me crazy this week!  I’m going to try to explain their ad as simply as I can, and hopefully you can make sense of it.  Here you go:

• In most areas, CVS will have a 3 day sale that runs 7/1/12 – 7/3/12, and a separate shorter 4 day sale that runs 7/4/12 – 7/7/12. (If your ad receives one ad for the full week, you’ll get all the deals below for the entire week.)
• CVS is offering a $10 gas gift card that will print immediately on your receipt when you purchase $30 in participating items.  Between  7/1/12 – 7/3/12 ALL the items listed under the “gas gift card” in the matchups will work towards your $30, however on  7/4/12 – 7/7/12 only the P&G items will go towards your $30 total.
• As far as I can tell, the only ECB deals are valid 7/1/12 – 7/3/12.
• There are a few different other deals offered in addition to the ECB & Gas Card deals that are specific to each sale and listed at the very bottom of the list.

Is that clear as mud?   Okay, well, if you’re planning to take on the CVS challenge this week, here’s my top scenario of the week. . .

Use $1/1 Physican’s Formula from 4/15 Smart Source insert (regional coupon)

Use (3) $1/1 Tide coupons from the 7/1 P&G insert

Use (2) $3/2 Pantene coupons from the 6/25 Smart Source insert

Pay $21.91 out of pocket, get $10 Gas Gift Card

So you’ll pay just $11.91 after the gas gift card for Physician’s Formula Skin Care, 3 Tide Detergents, and 4 Pantene Shampoos . . . not too bad if you love Pantene and Tide!  Let me know if you find any hot deals we’ve missed.
