I really thought I’d have time to post a few amazingly yummy recipes for Thanksgiving, but… it’s just not going to happen. However, my eleven year old (a.k.a. the budding pastry chef in our home . . .), along with a little help from his two little sisters and one incredibly patient dad, did make a few kid-friendly Thanksgiving treats that would be a great way to entertain a few kiddos over the next twenty-four hours!
We found these over on Pinterest and while these ladies made them look absolutely simple, they were a little more work than we expected. I’m not quite sure that our treats would ever look as beautiful as the ones they’ve created, but they did provide at least thirty-eight solid minutes of peace in our home, so they were completely worth the effort. Check these out . . .
Need a few more simple recipes for your actual feast? Here are a few of my favorites . . .
