I really didn’t want to post another ribs recipe, but we do love our ribs down here in Alabama, and Publix just keeps putting them on sale! And I’m hoping you’ll forgive me since this might just be the easiest recipe ever, so you’ve got no excuse to run through the drive-thru tonight. Just throw these in your crockpot before you head out the door, and dinner will be all ready when you get home tonight (doesn’t that just help you breathe a sigh of relief?)
In the intereste of full discretion , I enjoyed the Crock Pot Korean Ribs a little more, and my all time favorite ribs are definitely Kansas City Style Spareribs, but if you’ve just got to get dinner together this is the recipe for you!
Here’s all you’ll need:
3-4 lbs. Pork Spareribs, cut into serving size pieces so they fit in the crockpot On Sale $2.29/lb., ask the butcher at Publix to cut it for you to save time!
2 1/2 cups Barbecue Sauce, divided Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce BOGO $2.49
Salt and pepper
Salt and pepper ribs, then place in large crockpot. Cover with 2 cups barbecue sauce and sliced onion. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Remove ribs from crock pot and serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
