I’ve gotta warn you that the menus I’m posting this week are definitely on the wimpy side of recipes. Right now I’m up to my ears in Vacation Bible School, and until next Friday when the kids are all happily headed home from VBS, I’m not sure that any real meals are going to get cooked around our house! However, this is one I could handle (and my kids loved, of course.)
Here’s all you’ll need . . .
1 package hot dog buns
Publix brand are usually around $1.09
$0.20/1 Hunt’s Ketchup 5/16/2010 SS Insert (exp 6/30/2010)
$0.75/1 Heinz Kroger My Magazine Grilling (exp 8/1/2010)
$1/2 Snyders of Hanover Pretzels 5/23/2010 SS Insert (exp 8/30/2010)
I really doubt you need me to tell you how to do this one, but here you go just in case! Use pretzel sticks to attach pickles to bun for “wheels”. Put hot dog on top of bun, drizzle ketchup and mustard for “racing stripes”. You’re done!
