This is probably my kiddos favorite chicken and pasta recipe, and one of my favorites too because it’s so simple! My neighbor made it for me after we had our third baby, so I may be a little partial to this recipe because it reminds me of when my youngest was brand new. (Are you all sentimental with your recipes too?)
I love that you can throw this together in your crockpot (the greatest appliance ever), and then just come back at dinner time to put it together. We’ll be making this early next week at our house and I’ll add a picture then, but I promise it’s delicious AND easy! Here’s what you’ll need . . .
4 boneless chicken breasts
32 oz Frozen Package On Sale at Publix $5, be sure to thaw before cooking. Sanderson Farm Chicken Breast is on sale $1.79 at Kroger through today only for Meat Mania Sale and is on sale at Winn Dixie this week for $1.79/lb.
1/4 cup water
1 package Italian Salad Dressing
Store brand probably cheapest this week
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
Place chicken breasts in crock pot. Combine water and Italian salad dressing mix together and pour over chicken breasts. Cook on low for 3 hours. Shred chicken. Use hand mixer to combine soup and cream cheese. Mix until creamy, then add to chicken and cook one hour longer. Serve over cooked noodles.
